CT Research Institute (CTRI) is the Research and Training wing of Western Thomson Group (WTG). The Institute carries out research activities in the field of automotive engine cooling systems and Training activities to enhance the skills of people working in the Automotive industry.
CT Research Institute (CTRI) was formed in June 2005 by the Chidambaram Family and by various Family Trusts associated with the Chidambaram Family. The Institute is named after our Group’s Founder and Chairman late Mr. V. Chidambaram, referred to as CT.
Our Research Institute is committed to conduct various performance and life cycle tests on the products and parts of engine cooling systems in order to achieve International standards of Engine Performance. Research activities are carried out in the field of engine cooling systems in order to meet Emission requirements and help in efforts to reduce vehicle pollution.
CTRI has also dedicated its services to train technical people in the areas of Manufacturing, Quality and Product development and also offer on the job practical training.
Western Thomson Group (WTG) is a specialised auto-components group with a focus on Temperature Control and Precision engineered components.
